Documentation
How AutomatePrint works and how to set it up: guides for every area of the app, reference tables and the API.

Getting started
What the app does from artwork to finished pieces, who each area is for, and where to start.
Files
One library for your team's customer files: folders, whole-folder uploads, automatic versions, properties and storage.
Approvals
Upload a PDF, send your customer a proof link, collect comments and a recorded decision, then send the approved artwork to print.
Preflight
Check print PDFs against a profile before they go to press: where preflight runs, what it looks at and what you get back.
Prepress
Prepare one artwork before it is imposed: inks and line types, the die, bleed, separations, trapping, preflight and 3D.
3D
Fold the die into a carton in 3D: panels from the creases, fold progress and order, fold angles, the base panel and dieline fold data.
Imposition
From a job and its artwork to printed sheets: methods, run types, the Report and the Production tab.
Nesting engine
Pieces on sheets and rolls: what you set, what a layout is checked for, and how long a run may search.
Marks
Registration dots, job codes, slug lines, crop marks and item labels placed on every sheet or roll from your order data.
Equipment
The printers, cutters, presses, finishing machines and tools you produce with, and what they feed: nesting limits, print, cut and finishing times, quotes.
Schedule
Plan every job on your machines: imposed jobs arrive in a tray, one click places them, and the times work themselves out.
Estimating
Quote from a parts list or trace parts over a customer's drawing, and get a live quote with material, printing and cutting.
Screening
Screen imposed sheets or PDFs to 1-bit TIFFs, one per separation, for computer-to-plate platesetters.
API
Team-scoped REST APIs: authentication with API keys, errors, limits, pagination, the OpenAPI schema and polling.
Glossary
The print and production words used across the app and these docs, with what each one means here.
API reference
Every endpoint, generated from the live OpenAPI schema.
